Danielle Shaw, founder and head designer, is a freelance Web Developer, Social Media Marketing specialist, and Joomla enthusiast.  She got her start in Web Design during her college years beginning in 1996. Since then, she has continued to grow in the field and stay on the cutting-edge of the latest technology. For building websites her tools of choice are Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CS5 for creating layouts, then Dreamweaver CS5 to produce clean semantic XHTML and CSS. She has used Flash in the past for animations however, she has been phasing Flash programing out due to it's incompatibility with many mobile devices (She's not alone, Steve Jobs of Apple and Microsoft are as well).  Her content management system of choice is Joomla and typically builds e-commerce shops in Magento or osCommerce. Internet Business Promoter and Google Analytics software assist in developing strong Search Engine Optimization for every client.

Danielle has been contracted by Course Technology since 2001 as a Senior Technical Editor for web design and programming textbooks. A sampling of titles Danielle has worked on include: Adobe Photoshop, Flash, and Dreamweaver CS5 Comprehensive, Web 2.0: Concepts and Applications, XML, DHTML, and HTML Comprehensive, Visual Studio Concepts 2010, as well as Microsoft® Visual C# 2010: An Introduction to Object-Oriented Programming.
